Lots of growth at our house but the kitty seems to be most obvious. She will go in to be spayed next month! We will have her front claws removed too. (Please, no comments from animal activists ;) ) She seems to think climbing the screens is a lot of fun. She is an indoor cat but don't tell her that. She still tries to sneak out when the door opens.

Keith took yesterday off so that he could do some painting outside. We have 3 wood posts that line our entry sidewalk. Those all have 2 fresh coats of paint as do the boards around the garage doors. Above are the boxes of flooring and blinds that will be up soon. It is our year to freshen up the house, get it looking good.

Saturday was full with a Ladies' meeting and Keith attending an 80th birthday. I collected wood for the church bonfire. Sunday, we finally got out to trim some dead branches and decided to burn some brush to make things look a bit more tidy. Mowed lawn today. The rider broke a belt. So, I pushed for about an hour (the picture above is the area) before I decided it was a crazy thing to be doing. With our yard, push mowing is usually reserved for going around trees and tough slopes. Lots of outside time makes for good naps. Keith has found a good color for hardwood flooring. We will be doing that soon. Never a dull moment here! And that's just the stuff at home.

Don't know if you've noticed or even care that my posts are farther and farther apart. There are many things happening here but much can not be shared online.
Mya did start preschool yesterday. It was an orientation of sorts. So, I will grab a picture on Monday when she actually goes by herself. She is very excited to go. That makes it all so much easier.
Noah is having some adjustment difficulties at daycare. Reminds me of when I first took Mya there. He understands that daddy will pick him up but still doesn't want to go. He cries very hard when I drop him off. Fortunately he tells daddy that he had fun there. So, I guess it's the usual show to see if mommy will change her mind.
Keith's boss died this week. A huge hole for all. The funeral is Saturday.
I called the clinic to find out if they have scheduled Noah's surgery but no news yet. Lots to do to prepare for it. I'd like to get going on it. Need to mark all the appointments on the calendar. The adoption clinic appt is in a couple weeks.
Maybe when my head stops spinning, I will post more ;)
